Born in India, Sarita Nayyar found that not having a brother was the best thing that could have happened to her. The youngest of three girls, she was raised more like a son. That helped her forge a path that led her to study in the US and then land a coveted spot in brand management at Kraft Foods. After more than 20 years at Kraft, where she ended up running billion dollar+ businesses, she decided that rather than relocate her family, she would re-create her career and joined the World Economic Forum (perhaps more commonly known as the folks that put on the annual meeting of world leaders in Davos, Switzerland).  True to form, her hard work and keen intellect landed her the top spot at WEF US a few years later. Listen in to hear how she successfully transitioned from India to America, school to work, and corporate to non-profit, all while being a multi-cultural woman most often surrounded by Caucasian men.
