Margery Kraus is someone you can’t help but respect and admire. Still going strong at 70+, she is a self-made woman in every sense of the word - though she is quick to point out she didn’t do it alone. She built her career and her firm by doing things that had never been done and working in markets women didn’t traditionally even visit. She has “been there” and “done that” like few others. Now on Your Career, Your Terms: Pivot Points™, she shares her best tips for making an offer no one can refuse; being a working mom; dealing with prejudice and using passion to fuel your success.  This is an interview you don’t want to miss.

Gina Boswell is such a “gem” it’s no surprise to me that she’s now leading “the jewel in Unilever’s crown” as the head of the UK & Ireland. The blending of a warm, grounded personality with a keen intellect and strong drive to achieve is just a wonderful and highly impactful combination. Despite sometimes losing the “dual career battle” with her husband, she has managed to go from strength to strength, leading countless beauty brands and businesses in the US and around the world - including senior roles at Estee Lauder, Avon, Alberto Culver and now Unilever. She is someone anyone would be lucky to have as a friend; proud to have as a partner; and grateful to have as a colleague. This is an interview you don’t want to miss.

Today Joan runs a multi-billion dollar division of TE Connectivity. But if you ask her, she’ll tell you that getting there was anything but straight forward. Born in India, Sarita Nayyar found that not having a brother was the best thing that could have happened to her. The youngest of three girls, she was raised more like a son. That helped her forge a path that led her to study in the US and then land a coveted spot in brand management at Kraft Foods. After more than 20 years at Kraft, where she ended up running billion dollar+ businesses, she decided that rather than relocate her family, she would re-create her career and joined the World Economic Forum (perhaps more commonly known as the folks that put on the annual meeting of world leaders in Davos, Switzerland).  True to form, her hard work and keen intellect landed her the top spot at WEF US a few years later. Listen in to hear how she successfully transitioned from India to America, school to work, and corporate to non-profit, all while being a multi-cultural woman most often surrounded by Caucasian men.

By any measure, Mary Baglivo has had an impressive career in the advertising and marketing field.  She’s been a CEO, CMO, COO, and Board Chair - most more than once. For nearly a decade, she led Saatchi & Saatchi Americas, as CEO and later as Chairman and CEO. Then, three years ago, instead of just resting on her laurels, to the surprise of many, she raised her hand for a move from the Board of Directors to CMO at Northwestern University. And she’s never looked back!  Listen in to hear how she rose to the top and stayed there, while juggling family and a cross country commute.
